Titls Search A title search allows you to search the titles of books, series, periodicals, CDs, videorecordings, ets. The title search will search all formats:hard copy(paper),electronic,or microform. It does not include indivifual article titles within a journal or newspaper. Author Search An author search allows you to search the names of people,organizations,and conferences. Keyword Search A Keyword search searches all titles,contens notes,organizational names,orconference names. Subject Search Use a subject search when you items a certain topic. Subject searching uses a controlled vocabulary ,which helps to bring Items on a given topic together. Publisher Search A publisher search allows you to search the names of publisher, organizations, and conferences Call Number Search A Call number allows you search by the items' call number. This Is particularly useful if you have written down the call number, but do not Have the title and/or author. Call numbers are also classification numbers. They provide another way To fimd items with same topic. ISBN Search If you know the book's ISBN, you may search the book by the ISBN ISSN Search If you Know the serial's ISSN, you search the serials by ISSN New books display Newly published and procured books are selected for selected for weekly display. They are not available for loan form the book counter after the display when they have been stacked for reading. All annual newly cataloged books are kept at the collection area of the third and fourth floors respectively for loaning by readers according to the regulations.
